If your vacancy has not been successfully filled, or filled with an offline candidate, you can easily withdraw the vacancy from your manage ladder.
Unfortunately, on some occasions your vacancy may not have been filled or the employer may need to stop recruiting for an apprentice. And with some vacancies, you may have even found a candidate elsewehere. But you can easily withdraw the vacancy in a couple of steps on your manage ladder.
Firstly, access the vacancy you wish to withdraw and access the Manage ladder. Make all candidates on your ladder unsuccessful and then press withdraw vacancy at the bottom of the page. A pop up will appear confirming you are wanting to withdraw the vacancy; on here press OK. Ensure a reason has been selected from the drop down; this will be reported back to your senior management team on the Withdrawal report. And complete any additional information explaining the reason why the vacancy is being withdrawn.
If the vacancy has been filled by a candidate who has either applied or has been found on the GetMyFirstJob CV search, then this role does not need to be withdrawn but can be filled. Filling a vacancy ensures your fill rates are reported accurately to senior management, and the candidate is removed from the database and will not be contacted by other organisations.
But if a vacancy has been filled with a candidate from the system, then learn how to fill and close a vacancy here!
