When screening candidates, it's really easy to progress them through the process on your manage ladder.
When screening candidates, on the manage ladder you can progress them easily by pressing the green arrow.
You may not be able to move a candidate to the select for interview if the green arrow has disappeared.

When moving candidates, remember, the TalentPortal system does not send any automated messages to candidates, so if you want to let them know their status, you need to contact them.
If the candidate was found proactively and never applied, and you have never spoken to them about the role…then they never knew it existed and there is no need to contact them. Learn how here!
But for any unsuccessful candidates, why not send them other suitable roles they may be interested in and use the quick shortlist feature to add them to the ladder easily.
